Can see folder in tree nor list, but can access it?

#1 Post by lphilpot » 24.12.2020, 06:27

XE 2020 build 840 public, Windows 10 Pro 20H2

In particular, C:\Windows\system32\spool. I can browse to system32, but spool doesn't show in the tree nor file / folder list. I can type it into the address bar and go in. I can save / delete files, etc. Just can't browse to it. View hidden files, etc., is enabled.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

I think you are using 32-bit FCXE on 64-bit Windows.
A lot of special folders aren't at the place that Windows shows to you.

You are absolutely correct... I had forgotten about that. Been a long time since I used a 32-bit app for system functions.

Thanks.
