Hello,
whenever I restart my computer, FC forgets the connected drives and prompts me with an error-message that the system cannot find the drive.
So far the only solution I could find is that I have to disconnect and reconnect my NAS-drives.
So my request for assistance is:
Where should I enter what, so that FC remembers the drives on my NAS and only requests my login?
Please change the wording of the error-message, as "the System", read: my WIN7 PC is absolutely capable of remembering the drive. At least the standard explorer and some other programs like SpeedCommander can.
Settings to keep network-drive
Re: Settings to keep network-drive
I see that nobody has replied to you on this issue. I also have this problem.
It is NOT because Windows isn't reconnecting at startup either. If use Windows File Explorer there is no problem, my mapped drives are listed.
The function to map a drive in FC uses the Windows utility so I don't understand why FC cannot show these mappings.
As Haensel asked: Is there some setting I'm overlooking to make this work properly? If so, where is it and why is it so hard to find?
