To the Board Administrator

A bug report. Every time I try to login. I input my user name then my password I get the error message "You have specified an incorrect password. Please check your password and try again. If you continue to have problems please contact the Board Administrator". I then do the normal password recovery steps. The emails come to my box. I get into the forum. Go to profile and reset the password. And I do write my passwords in an unmarked small notebook. The next time I log into this forum, WAM I get hit with the same error message "You have specified an incorrect password. Please check your password and try again. If you continue to have problems please contact the board Administrator". Then again in order to login I have to do the whole password recovery bit over again. This happens every time I log in. Why? Also when I went to submit this post. I got hit with the forum asking me to login yet again and I had to go through the password reset bit again just to finish this post.

I have tested the recovery password steps and all works fine for me.

The problem is not in the password recovery system. That works fine. The problem is every time I reset the password after logging in with the computer generated generic password. Your system does not retain the new password that I type in. After I log off and the next time I try to log on with the new password that I typed in. I get this error message "You have specified an incorrect password. Please check your password and try again. If you continue to have problems please contact the Board Administrator" and I do write the passwords down and keep that notebook in a save place. I can login every time by doing a password recovery. Are we on the same page now?

No problem with new password too.
Remember, you must respect password rule:
Password must be between 6 and 100 characters long, must contain letters in mixed case and must contain numbers.

Are you saying that the password I am picking is not meeting the password protacall? I am using the name of a month - and the year in numbers. Is that not good enough?

For example: january1990 is not good enough.
You need mixed case, e.g.: JanuarY1990

mixed case - use one capital letter in you password and it will work!

I did use one capital letter and it didn't take. Right now I am still using the last computer generated generic password that I got via email.

Try changing the generic password like normal when you get in but don't use it to login, instead use the generic .again. That should narrow it down a bit . If it works, its not being changed. If not, it may be changing to something other than what it's supposed to.

This is technically just a theory because I've never had issues with it, but its worth a try
