Freecommander settings shared between two computers

#1 Post by liederman » 16.04.2016, 18:44

hello
I have Freecommander on two PCs and a shared OneDrive folder.
I would like to share every setting between the two FCs excluded the chosen folder for locked tab as well as favorites folders (each PC has its different paths).

Is there any way to do it?

Hello,

I'm not sure, but you can try, in Settings > Start program > 1st tab, use "Following folder" option, set the path with the settings folder you want to use. It works good within one computer.

I transferred my settings successfully from 1 computer to another. All your settings are in FreeCommander ini and xml files.

The path to mine is C:\Users\my name\AppData\Local\FreeCommanderXE\Settings (and I see FreeCommander.ini and so on on the right side).

I copied the appropriate items to the same folder on another computer after backing them up first.
