Eclude folders in back up

#1 Post by UriB » 19.06.2016, 00:03

I am trying to use FreeCommander donor 64bit edition to back up a drive. I am trying to exclude some folders and some files but it doesn't seem to work. There is no help as 95% of the help is inaccessible (I have no idea why).
Can anyone explain how to use the exclude option in the sync/compare screen?
So far, I am fairly disappointed. I was hoping it would be simple to exclude but either I am doing something wrong, or this feature, important as it is, doesn't work
Thank you in advance,
:(

Scroll down to the Folder filter section.

I guess I am not smart enough but for me it is way too complicated for what I want to do.
I just want to be able to exclude some folders and files from backing up when I do a weekly backup.
I still have no idea how to do that

Just switch to Filters tab in the Synchronize dialog after you choose your paths in the left and right panel (e.g. drive root in left side and empty folder in right side):

Thank you.
I finally realized that I had a bad installation.
Installed it again and now everything is working as you said :D
Again, thank you very much
