Hi everyone
I installed the latest version 32 bit (20.01.2017 6.41 MB 61740D2B01455FC9BA17476E12701428) , and it started to launch in a "minimized" mode. I couldn't maximize it, and had to stretch it out. However, when stretching the window, the application crashes.
I tried to reinstall a previous build (715 I think) to see if I can go back. This did work temporarily, but the application keeps crashing and I have to kill the process manually.
I am now in a position where no matter which version I install, the application keeps crashing, typically right on start up.
1. Has anyone else experienced similar issues?
2. Is there anything I can do to try to rectify this?
3. What do i need to save, if i want to completely uninstall and then reinstall it. Will my backup be enough to restore everything?
Thanks
(This is on Windows 7 machine)

Re: Issues with latest version (20.01.2017 )
Try to use these command line parameters (your old setting files will be preserved):
/N /NewIni=FreeCommanderTest.ini /NoPlugins /Lng=English
Then you can try the settings from backup, default path is %FcAppDataPath% (FC install folder, Settings subfolder - Bkp_Settings_2017-01-...).
You can use any number of FC installations / folders, so you can test multiple FC versions and settings.
All settings (incl. backup) are in the Settings folder, you can find the location from main menu > Help > About > Paths info (FC data), or just type %FcAppDataPath% in the address path.
