hide: panel top row, and Tab bar?

#1 Post by coyote » 06.09.2017, 22:02

Is it possible to hide the:
1. Top "root" row of panels, the one with ".."?
2. The Tab bar (Blue highlight in pic below)?

1. Settings (F12) > View > File/folder list > [ ]Show parent folder "..".
2. Settings (F12) > View > Folder tabs > Tab management > [ ]Always keep one tab open, then exit and reopen FC or close the tab on both panels (Ctrl+W).

Thank you very my, Dreamer!
I can't believe I missed #1, and I'm impressed #2 is even possible!

Can column headers be modified (yet)? (I'd like mine to contrast a bit more with the rows below.)

I saw a feature request for this from a couple years ago.

Not yet, sorry, it's one of the last few items that can't be changed. If you're using dark color for panels, you can use light/silver colors with effects for menu/tabs/address.
