It would be nice to know what mean you "can not change colors".

Hi. I'm enjoying FreeCommander and am looking to find a nice color scheme for my daily shuffle.

I go from Solarized dark, to Solarized light, to Material theme looks in my terminals and editors in my development environment.

Would anybody be able to come up with any theme(s) that resemble those popular themes in hopes of a nice match?

Hello, I'm sorry for late replay. I'm working on Solarized dark and Solarized light color schemes, here is the preview screenshot...

It is nice to see that you are adding some lighter colored file list options.

Thanks,

I have tried my best to figure out how to change the color of the left margin of the pull down menu where the icons are located. I looked through View > View style > Gradient - Custom > Define > Menu but don't see it.

View > View style > Gradient - Custom > Define > Menu > Gradient start > Menu icon bar.
View > View style > Gradient - Custom > Define > Menu > Gradient stop > Menu icon bar.

Hi Dreamer

Thanks a lot for the themes, great work! I have downloaded the dark grey theme, but I am unable to make the upper bar dark as well (the one with column headings and the one above with file path, etc. here is the screenshot:

First color is probably in menu > View > View style > Gradient - Custom > Define > Menu > Gradient start and stop > Background color.

Second color - column header in details view can't be changed (now), more in this topic.

I decided to use the "silver" color because of the issue above, but if you want dark background for all (possible) space, you can try Very_Dark_Grey_Flat_by_Dreamer, you can change the background for address bar and tabs, if you want it dark too.

Much obliged for the heads up. I'll include it once the file refreshes later today. I didn't know about it - I don't believe there's been a discharge in its US.

Hello,
I'm new to this forum and would like to ask a couple of questions.
Where do the color id come from?
How can I change the grid lines colour in details view?
Thanks for any help provided.
Hector

Hello Hector,

please read this topic:

viewtopic.php?f=18&t=8330#p26645

I'm not sure what you mean by color ID, gridlines color can't be changed (yet).

No color option in settings for address bar

Hi

Setting up my own color scheme but 1 thing i cannot change is the address bar colors. If i go to address bar settings "colors\fonts" there is no option to change the colors. Could not find anything in the ini file either. I am using FC Build 810a 32-bit public.

Any suggestions please.

Thanks - rider45

PS. also FC is much better then when i tried it 2yrs ago, THANKS.

Try to resize the Settings window, there should be the color buttons next to preview.
