I want to be able to preview PDF files in FreeCommander XE's preview pane, preferably using PDF-XChange by Tracker Software. See https://www.tracker-software.com/product/downloads

How can I set this up? I've tried various options, but have yet to experience success!

BTW, I'm also interested in solutions that involve any method of previewing PDF files.

my favorite viewer plugin is wlx64_uLister_4.0.0 --> you can preview almost everything with it

drawback for some people: you're forced to sign-up at Oracle to be able to download Viewer Technology - I didn't care about it.

Thank you. Unfortunately, that Sumatra plugin is ancient. The other one could be a possibility if it's more current.

Thank you. Do you have a link to the appropriate place at the Oracle site to get this viewer? Sounds interesting.

ulister - plugin:
google for ulister 4.0.0

Oracle Viewer Technology 8.5.3:
google for Oracle Viewer Technology 8.5.3 (then scroll down a bit, you'll find it)

then unzip downloaded Oracle file "vw-8-5-3-win-x86-64.zip" or "vw-8-5-3-win-x86-32.zip" and put the folder named "redist" into the ulister-plugin-folder.
