FreeCommander sees a file which does not exist

#1 Post by Cafougnette » 17.07.2014, 22:14

I am using Win XP Pro SP3.
There are two msg Outlook files which FC keeps listing when I 'Compare' although they do not exist.
When I 'synchronise' it generate an error message.
Very frustrating : I cannot get rid of this since I cano erase these two non existent files!
Tks for your feedback.

If you use the version 650 then try first 665 http://www.freecommander.com/fc_beta_en.htm.

suggestion 1: go to settings, File /Folderlist and check show hidden files, show system files to show all files.
suggestion 2: close XE, rename SETTINGS folder (portable version) to reset XE
suggestion 3: take a screen shot of the error and post it here (don't expect to much, bugs often don't get fixed)
suggestion 4: use another tool for synchronization (there is plenty really good, free applications out there)
e.g. robocopy (look also for a GUI)
