UI Bugs: Search files/folders window

#1 Post by Free4all » 08.05.2015, 05:28

FCXE Build 685 32-bit

In the Search files/folders window, when in Advanced mode, toggling the regex checkbox causes the yellow help icon in the right side to disappear.

Furthermore, the width of the popup for the help button should be wider for both Advanced and non-Advanced modes.

Icon disappears both when switching regex ON or OFF. But I don't see a problem here. When you try to write something in Filename field, it appears again. And it seems to me, that more people will draw attention exactly in this case, not if it was swithched on constantly.

The behavior should probably be consistent, regardless of whether regex is enabled/disabled.

It could not be consistent, because in each case different tips are shown!

Lol... consistent behavior, not actual text, of course,
