- connect the cell phone
- go to cell phone path in FC
- lock the tab
- disconnect the cell phone
- switch to another tab and back to cell phone tab
- error dialog is displayed, correct
- reconnect the phone
- double click the cell phone tab to go to locked path or right click the tab and select "go to locked path"
= path is not changed (minor bug)
- go to another tab and back to phone path
= path is changed, correctly
- now exit FC
- disconnect the cell phone
- start FC
- go to phone tab
= locked path in tab properties has been changed to "<CSIDL:0"
Possibly it's the same with other MTP devices, drives.
If you restart FC while phone is connected, the locked path is not changed. I think the tab path should never be changed, once it's locked.
The path in the favorite tree and favorite tools is preserved even if the phone is disconnected - it's also the workaround.
FC 747 64-bit, Windows 10 64-bit.
747 - Cell phone path vs. locked path
Re: 747 - Cell phone path vs. locked path
Bug fixed partially in 748, main bug is fixed, locked path is never lost / changed.
748 changelog:

- double click the cell phone tab to go to locked path or right click the tab and select "go to locked path"
= path is changed (correctly)
