Display of hot item font color over selected item font color

Hi,
For some time now I noticed that by default hot item font color covers selected item font color (in my case Light Blue over Red). I noticed that there is "For selected item -> Use background color only" option, but that does not help either because this is resetting the font color to default (in my case Black over Red) resulting in misleading display of selected files.

Regards,

I guess unticking 'Use Windows colors' will make things better.

What is your selection method default (http://www.freecommander.com/fchelpxe/en/General4.html) or sticky (http://www.freecommander.com/fchelpxe/e ... CMode.html)?
Show the options you have set for your selection type.

Just to clear this out this is FC 2018 b770 public (upgrade from FC 2017 b740 public), but problem was noticed by me way way before. New version forces me to do something about my observations 8)

@alf5000
I had Theme off turned of already. Turning off "Use Windows colors" did not help.

The hot color has higher priority as other colors.
If you want to see font color of selected items than use only background color for the hot item:
- click the button on the right site of "Hot item"
- select from the popup menu "For selected item"
- select "Use background color only"

Thank Karol, that made it work as I want.

To summarize things that I had to change in my settings:
- turn off "Use Windows colors" checkbox on the "Select items" -> "General tab"
- for "Hot item" set "For selected item" -> "Use background color only" on the "NC-Mode tab"
