Applying filter doesn't observe color settings

#1 Post by JohnFredC » 28.09.2008, 23:11

I am enamored with the new dark gray color schemes popularized by Lightroom, Aperture, and the like, and have set the colors in FreeCommander to look like them (white text, dark gray backgrounds).

I also use alternative background colors ("stripes"). One of the stripe background colors changes when a filter is on. The other stripe color doesn't change...

To reproduce:

1. Set the panel text color to white and the two background stripes to different shades of very dark gray/black.

2. Type a mask into the filter box (lower right corner of file panel)

3. Observe change in one stripe's background color, but not the other.

This must be a bug.

Hmm.. I'm not sure, but perhaps another color for filter when using this option might help.

Nevermind...

I found it on the QuickSearch/Filter page of options.

Consequently, this is NOT a bug.
