You did not start probably the program ever? Otherwise you would notice some things themselves.

Open the Settings and check the option "Delete history entries on close".

Yes, checking the setting at least briefly would help you (and us a bit ).

If I can't find something in any program, I check all settings (BTW this is the first thing when I start a new program - it's so exciting..), then I chech the Help (I know FC's Help is a bit outdated), then search in the forum and then ask in the forum.

Please don't take this as offence, it's just a hint.
