The memorycard of my Nikon disfunctioned, I succeeded recovering them with PC Inspector, but the files have all been given the date of recovery.
But by using the pointer you still can see the photo's are taken by a NikonD70S as well as the date when the photo's are taken.
Is there a possibility in Free Commander to restore the original date?

I don't think so. You would have to use something that reads EXIF data. I don't know of anything that will change the timestamp according to that, but it's certainly possible that it exists somewhere.

FC can read the EXIF date and add it to file name using multi rename.

Hmm, I missed that trick, couldn't find it. I'll have to look again.

It's not the only such a feature, but it can be added to file name only, not to the file as date created/modified...

Thanks for the answers Dreamer and Matera. Although not automatically and without the time I succeeded bringing back the original dates by multi rename.
