I'm a newbie that was referred to this program because a friend though that this program might be able to do what I'm trying to do. I have looked at other threads but probably because I don't know enough about Free Commander I'm unable to determine if the program is capable of doing what i wish.
I have an old external hard drive that has on it copies of many old programs as well as old data files like jpegs & Mp3's. My problem is that the path to these files & folders has many errors on them & is some cases I have the situation that I find the iTunes folder within another iTunes folder. Also the drive letters have changed.
I can transfer these files to my new PC & the data should work OK if I can get my current programs like Photoshop Elements & iTunes to accept the path to them. What I need to do is do a bulk remapping of the file path to these old folders. Can Free Commander do this & if so how is it done?
Any help will be much appreciated?

Wouldn't it be simpler to just copy the files to your hard drive?
