Disconnecting FTP

#1 Post by AussiePup » 01.11.2011, 01:05

Ok, my second question. I have setup my ftp sites. All works perfectly. The only thing I have been unable to figure out is HOW DO YOU DISCONNECT?

Must be something I'm overlooking ... hope someone can enlighten me. I have tried just changing drives, etc., but when you go back to ftp, you're still looking at the directory structure of the ftp site you had connected to.

I'm used to seeing the "Connect" button change to a "Disconnect" button when you're connected.

Thanks for any help,

AussiePup

Edit: Ok, I now have noticed that the connection eventually times out and quits. I can live with this, but it really would be better if the connection could stay active until you want it to quit. Just a suggestion, Marek

For disconnecting click on FTP icon in the drive bar or call the popup menu with the right click in the log area.

Thanks again, Marek,

I did look for this info, both in the forum and the help file, but couldn't find anything .. guess that's what happens when you get older?
