Cannot see files of folder on 2nd panel when in Tree view?

I have a basic install where I have two panels, each are in the "tree mode". On the left panel if I click on a folder in the sub-panel it opens and shows the list of files, as I would expect it to. However, on the right panel if I click on folder in the sub-panel (again, also in tree mode), instead of listing the files it goes up one level showing the folder above it?

Can see anything in settings regarding this? Don't understand why it is working on left panel but not on right panel. Any help would be appreciated.

Which version? For me its working like it should (either the public beta591 as the actual beta600)...
