Problem with Quickview for Microsoft Office 2010 files

Loving FC very much
, but I have a problem with Quickview for any files created in Office 2010 (Excel xls, xlsx, Word doc, docx, Powerpoint ppt, pptx). Does FC support quickviewing of them? If so, how can I fix it (they just display gobblegook at the moment). PDF files and notepad files display fine in QV pane. I have searched and tried a few suggestions, but have not been able to resolve this one, so sorry if the answer if posted on here somewhere - I couldn't find it 
I'm running FC on a Windows 7 64bit machine and a Windows 8 machine, but have same problem on both with Office files.
