Accessing control panel etc when setup as shell..

#1 Post by suejohnson » 05.04.2019, 03:20

OS = Vista Business SP1
Have installed Free Commander and set it up as the shell as per another post in this forum (can't link..)
My problem is that I can now not open (by double clicking etc) most control panel/network type windows... The screen flicks (something is trying to open) but nothing appears.. If I Right-Click a control panel icon and choose explore, works fine.
Have only just installed (thanks to an article in Australian Personal Computer...) and so far am very impressed!
Thanks

Click on settings and then in the new box that pops up you should see a tab that says "Tapping". Open that tab and you should then see "Three Finger Tap" and "Four Finger Tap". Uncheck those boxes and then click "Apply". That should take care of it.

I hope this helps.

Cheers!
