All my mp3s use ID3v2. ID3v1 has character limit and can't store enough of the metadata for my taste.
I would request, that FC support ID3v2.
Thanks in advance

Re: Support .mp3 ID3v2 tags
This request is probably for Status bar.
I found the items for Column profiles, which are taken from ID3v2 tag, they are in sub-category "Windows" in "Choose details" dialog:
Artist v2 = Authors
Title v2 = Title
Album v2 = Album
Genre v2 = Genre
Year v2 * = Year
* for Year only first 4 digits are shown from v2 tag
In Multi rename it's from MP3 category:
Title v2 = [mp3title]
Artist v2 = [mp3artist]
Genre v1 = [mp3genre]
Year v2 * = [mp3year]
Album v2 - [mp3album]
* Year is used only if it's 4-digits, otherwise, if it's more, "0" is used.
In Status bar it's the same as for Multi rename, title, artist, and album are from ID3v2 tag, year is from v2, but it's shown only if 4 digits are used, otherwise it's "0" and only "genre" is used from v1 tag.
Usually mp3 songs have the v1 tag too, the problem is the new genre format, when 2 or more items are used and mp3 tag editors don't copy/save any genre to v1 tag in this case.
