NTFS permissions bypass OR ability to run as SYSTEM

#1 Post by merwinsson » 22.01.2016, 23:32

It would be a nice feature to have a mode where FC is able to completely ignore/bypass NTFS permissions (for some operations, not all of course).
There are times when it would be a COLOSSAL time saver to just be able to make filesystem changes as though you were God.
In this mode, you should be able to browse whatever folder you want, read (and therefore copy) whatever file you desire, and delete with abandon.
It's sad Windows lacks this natively, but I can understand why they don't allow it.
Something like a button that toggles this mode would be great.
Of course, you SHOULD be an administrator for the button to be available.
I know this will never happen, but one can dream.

Alternatively, since SYSTEM can do ALMOST ANYTHING, enabling FC to run as SYSTEM easily would be my next choice.
I have a tool that can run anything as SYSTEM and running FC under SYSTEM works but gives an error about not seeing the DESKTOP.
Integrating a RUN AS SYSTEM mode, and working under this mode properly and without an external tool would also be helpful.
