Opening new tab on predefined side

#1 Post by Forez » 26.04.2016, 20:39

As it seems that there is no way of achieving this right now [viewtopic.php?f=18&t=7178], I would like to request of adding some more options to the "favorite toolbar"

I would like to be able to make an icon in one or more of the "favorite toolbar", that while being always visible would open a folder in a new tab precisely on the [prechosen] left or right window with just one single click

If you want to open the folder e.g. c:\temp on the left site:
- as program for your favorite define your freecommander.exe
- as parameter: -C -L=c:\temp
For the right site: -C -R=c:\temp
If you want always new tab:
-T -C -L=c:\temp
-T -C -R=c:\temp

This works, thank you very much

But how about making it also the active tab" when I'm in the opposite window? If I have it set as
-T -C -R=c:\temp
and I have active tab onthe left, then I stay active in that left one; and I would prefer to be switch automatically to the right [just as this "-R" would suggest]

I've tried guessing and added the "-A" to the parameter but it didn't work as such. I've also tried putting in "Start folder" the "%ActivDir%", but it also switch me from old

It seems that now this happens by itself

I do not know why back then sometimes they were opening sometimes as active tab and sometimes not
