Right now if you click an icon from a Favorite Toolbar that is a proper / working shortuct to a folder, the folder is opened. And that is how it is supposed to work
But why does clicking it the second or third time, either accidentally or because failing to see where a tab with that already opened folder is, results in creating a new tab with the same content; and not just making active [switching to] the already existing tab?
Yes, I have specifically put a Parameter for a new tab in all of my shortcuts. But that was to prevent the lost of other tabs in my workflow- but dealing with that problem created a new one, of repeating tabs with the exact same content. FreeCommander should check first if a desired location is not already opened and not created a second or third tab with it
Stop doubling tabs in the same window

Could you show the definition of your favorite folder?

I do not know if we are talking about the same thingMarek wrote:Could you show the definition of your favorite folder?
This shows a shortcut to a folder
If i click it many times, I will get many same tabs
This shows shortcut to a file
If I click it more than once, I will only get the existing copy of it brought to the front of screen and not an unnecessary second version of it. And that is how I would wish the the folder shortcuts would behave
