one-char-column with changing color asterisks

Hello, FC developers!
I would like to offer one feature which will make FC even more convenient (this feature has Frigate file manager - excellent manager, but not supported today
).
Idea: To create one-char-column with changing color asterisks whose color designates age of the file.
With such feature it will become easy to find the newest files in any mode of sorting.
The newest files are red, and then with each day these files became more darker and darker till reach a certain age, for example two weeks or ten days, then asteriks disappear.
