Tree Expander Colour

The file tree has an expander icon to open/collapse the folder in the tree. It is black.
I can't see an option to change its colour. Obviously if the background is dark (eg black) the caret becomes invisible.
There either needs to be a colour setting or perhaps automatically choose a colour (white, grey, black) based on the tree background colour (eg the HSV value), so it is visible. Or perhaps most simply just make it the same colour as the tree label forecolour setting.
