Multi-select of items using CTRL + space bar

#1 Post by mrlamest » 07.03.2019, 21:25

With Windows Explorer I am able to multi-select certain files and directories in the details pane by holding down the CTRL key and pressing space on individual items. I request the ability to do so with FreeCommander.

To clarify, the files/folders I want to select are not next to each other. For example, with a list of files named...

1.txt
2.txt
3.txt
4.txt

...I want to use the keyboard to multi-select files 2.txt and 4.txt using the same manner I use in Windows Explorer.

Thank you.

Try the NC-mode, it's even easier to select items with just Space or Insert and move with arrow keys.

Go to "Define keyboard shortcuts..." and remove the shortcut for Ctrl+Space.
