Multi rename - use counter only if needed

This option would be useful to rename files when we don't need a counter for most files, just for few, e.g. we have the photos in format like this: "2019-09-08 17-01-51".
If the photos from multiple cameras/smartphones are used and renamed by EXIF date, some files might have the same time, so also the name is the same - in this case those files are not renamed.
The only workaround is to use a counter for all files, but it's useless, doesn't look good and if we delete some files later, some numbers are missing.
I suggest the option to use counter only if needed and with different options as main Counter.
Example for 3 duplicates, non-duplicate and 3 more duplicates:
Old names:
IMG_2711
IMG_2712
IMG_2713
IMG_2714
IMG_2715
IMG_2716
IMG_2717
Name dates:
2019-09-08 17-01-51
2019-09-08 17-01-51
2019-09-08 17-01-51
2019-09-08 17-04-07
2019-09-08 17-05-35
2019-09-08 17-05-35
2019-09-08 17-05-35
New names - first way (1 digit counter starting with 2 per duplicate):
2019-09-08 17-01-51
2019-09-08 17-01-51-2
2019-09-08 17-01-51-3
2019-09-08 17-04-07
2019-09-08 17-05-35
2019-09-08 17-05-35-2
2019-09-08 17-05-35-3
New names - second way (more advanced, if possible, use counter also for first file):
2019-09-08 17-01-51-1
2019-09-08 17-01-51-2
2019-09-08 17-01-51-3
2019-09-08 17-04-07
2019-09-08 17-05-35-1
2019-09-08 17-05-35-2
2019-09-08 17-05-35-3
Possible ways to implement:
1) Menu option, button, hotkey "add special counter only for duplicate items".
2) Or use [ca] as "counter advanced", for duplicates only (use a separator "-" only for duplicates).
Thanks.
