I am using FreeCommander on a Windows 2003 Server SP1 (64bit) virtual machine. It seems to work great EXCEPT when I try to navigate to my networked webservers e.g.:
\\ProdWebs\Websites\
Every time I do this, FC crashes without any error message. Is there a way I can have it generate a log file etc I can give you to help track this issue down?
Windows Server 2003 - Networked Location Crash
Re: Windows Server 2003 - Networked Location Crash
I just now pinpointed the exact action that is causing this crash on my 64bit machine:
It seems to run fine unless I select the addressbar (alt+g) and type a back slash (\) -- so far other characters I've tried do not cause any problem, just the back slash. No other parts of the application (thus far) have this problem. E.G. the Go To Folder dialog works fine etc.
Hope this helps track down this bug if it is indeed a bug.

Re: Windows Server 2003 - Networked Location Crash
It is know FC problem on some PCs. Unfortunatelly it works fine on all my PCs.
If you send me your mail address per PN, we could try make some tests.

Re: Windows Server 2003 - Networked Location Crash
Hi,
I have exactly the same problem on my W7 x64 machine. As soon as I type a \ in the address bar Freecommander crashes.
It doesn't crash when I paste the network UNC from the clipboard.
I am using version 2009.02a
