Context menu Delete problem

#1 Post by Gandolf » 02.11.2007, 04:43

Using the context menu to delete a file switches from freeCommander to the previous open application when "Yes" is selected in the delete confirmation dialogue. The file is deleted but the "Deleting..." dialogue does not appear. If "No" is selected then the context menu re-appears.

Other methods of deleting (menu, keyboard, toolbar) don't appear to have the problem.

Checked with a "clean" version (command line "/N /NewIni=FreeCommanderTest.ini /NoPlugins /Lng=English") and the same.

My context menu has very few entries and I don't have the problem with other file managers so I don't think it is a problem with a Shell extension.

O.S. is XP SP2 with all updates.

freeCommander is 2007.10.

Update...

Sometimes it doesn't happen and it seems to be related to the position (in the list) of the file to be deleted, relative to the focused file. I cannot determine exactly how.
