Losing filters

I recently started using filters in FreeCommander (v 2009.02a, WinXP SP3).
I successfully added a couple filters via the Set Filter dialog (Ctrl+F). I could then apply them in the main window as well as in the Synchronize Directories window, where I really want to use them. Some time later (and I cannot say for sure whether it is after a reboot or even a program restart) my custom filters simply vanish, leaving only the default list (Executable and Documents).
