Strange Multi-rename delay

The multi-rename feature is having a strange behavior in the following case:

• Select some files which have, lets say the following names xxx-22-xxx
• Open the Multi rename window
• Type 22 in the "Search for" field
• Type 55 in the "Replace with" field
• Press ENTER very quickly (immediately after typing the 55)
• RESULT: the window closes and the files are renamed like this: xxx--xxx

Actually if I wait a bit before hitting ENTER, the Renaming works just fine.
It seems that the renaming works with whatever is in the "New name" column in the list, but if you hit ENTER quickly, it does not have time to refresh those strings with the "Replace with" string, but the "Search for" string was already applied.
And this is definitely a bug

By waiting till the preview of filename is ready, evething works fine.

Yes, I mentioned that already.
But this doesn't change the fact that this is a bug.
