free commander 2009.02b installed
win 7 64 bit
when I copy or move files FreeCommander becomes unresponsive until the copying is finished. During the process I can not click on any files, menus or buttons. After copying is done everything is fine again. This is annoying if copying big files.
This does not happen with Windows Explorer, I can work in Windows Explorer while file is copying.
thanks,
Tom

Re: unresponsive during copying
Ok, I played around and found that the unresponsive state of FC during copying/moving/deleting can be prevented by:
Use FreeCommander XE and set Extras>Settings>File/Folder operations> use FC.
That's a good solution, otherwise FC would be pretty useless for handling big files. I would suggest to set this settings as default. Many new users will not find that solution and will simply stop using this really great program.
