Creating links from file search doesn´t work in some cases

Steps to reproduce:
- Search for anything within a directory and its subdirectories
- Have a search result with at least two files from different subdirectories
- Select both of them
- Right-click & drag them onto the desktop
- Upon releasing the mouse button choose "create link" (or whatever it is in an English Windows version)
Expected result:
- Two links to both files
Actual result:
- nothing happens
I don´t know if this is a FC or a Windows problem. It doesn´t happen when the two files are from the same subdirectory.

Windows 7, 64-bit
