can add this function?

#1 Post by acstvip » 28.01.2009, 12:05

i have been use freecommander for almost one years.it is very good, better than totalcommander in my mind.

i suggest that when i double click the disk label ,i can directly get into the roof directory. For example,i am in D:\software\abc\def\hijk\mno,i just want back to D:\,so i think double the D disk label would be convenient for that icon back to roof directory in the address bar is too far away to click.

thanks to you guys for such so wonderful tool!

Perhaps another way to get what you want now is to click the drive letter on the LHS in the address bar?

right, but i think it is inconvenient. That is why i suggest double click the drive letter in stead of it.

since we are talking about GUI items it is significant that you be specific about what you mean by drive letter... do you mean a drive letter on the drive bar? If so, there is a setting (Extras/settings/view/drives/show with drive select/root folder) that will do what you want.

You can also hold Ctrl key and click on a drive letter in the drive bar. It works regardless of setting in Extras/settings/view/drives/show with drive select.
