Folder view history

#1 Post by Pinstripe » 23.08.2009, 18:18

FreeCommander is great, but the one thing I miss from Windows Explorer is the ability to keep history of folder views. To remember the view of thumbnails in one folder, list view in the next, then view details in the current folder. Could this be added in a future release?.

Lets say you want to view your, 'My Pictures' folder, but your current view is 'List'. You then need to select view 'thumbnails' in order to see them, then before or after, switch back to 'list'. In Windows Exporer, each folder's view style is remembered.

Am I the only one who finds this useful?, if not, please show your support. Thanks!.

I realize that this works if you use tabs, but I'm talking about without tabs.
