Thanks for a great improvement over Windows Explorer.
How about an option to color-code directory names?
The purpose is to VISUALLY identify quickly the directory for which one is searching. Since the brain already knows the directory and could associate a color with it , one could look for the color of the directory name text including subdirectories instead of the necessity of READING the monochrome directory list.
The color coding could carry over to the expansion panes, thus providing a visual connection between the expansion panes and the primary directory tree in the left pane.
Very frequently one works within a particular directory often and it would be a help to simply look for the color rather than read the name.
Alternatively, how about increasing the font size of the selected directory (and perhaps the sub-directories)? This would also bring that directory name list more to the forefront of attention.
Also, how about the option to colorize the background of some directories? That is, colorize that part of the background used by a specific directory. This would allow another way to quickly identify parts of the tree without having the read the names.
Thanks again for a great program.
