Display thumbnails also for videos and create 4 or 5 thumbnails, from e.g. 10, 20, 30, 40 (and 50)% of the video and show these thumbnails in FC Images view.

How it should be done in Viewer?
Instead of Multimedia mode (WMP 6.4)? Or as additional mode?

No no... I mean thumbnails view - Images view - show 4 thumbnails for video files, similar to 4 folder thumbnails.

Perhaps also 1 thumbnail for video file would be enough, or as option, but 4 thumbs would be better.

My fault, "FC image viewer" should be "FC Images view", I'll edit the first post.

I already see thumbnails for video (WinXP SP2):

Strange, I can't see any non-image files at all in "Images" view. Is there any hidden ini option to enable video thumbnails??

I can see the thumbnails for AVI files, but only as folder thumbnails - another problem is that first frame is used and I can see just this for most videos:

It may be something with Windows Media Player integration (check what is shown in Explorer in thumbnails view).

In explorer folder thumbnails are the same, but I can see also the avi files with thumbnails - just the black ones, but in FC there are no thumbnails, no avi files at all in Images view.

So it works now, it's probably explorer, but as I said, it's not perfect...

I think XnView can be used in other file manager (TC) to show thumbnails, it's my favorite image viewer and it supports also videos, any chance to add support for it also to FC?
