Question about Folderpic

Question about Folderpic

Hello everybody,
the display of thumbnails on folders is a great feature of FC.
What criteria are used to select the displayed images?
I guess it's coincidental.

The selection of a specific meaningful picture is apparently not currently possible.
Nothing is mentioned in the help.

Suggestion:
An image with the name “Folderpic” could be displayed with priority if available.

Stay healthy

Hello everybody,
more than 200 users have read my question in the meantime.
Nobody has an idea? A proposal? A solution?

Such a good forum - a shame

Best regards

I'm not sure if I understand what do you mean, but it's probably a Windows feature, not sure it it's possible to change those images, perhaps just using a completely new feature, but Marek should be able to answer this better.

One image viewer use another way, show 2 mini-thumbnails on the large folder image/thumb, not sure if it's possible to control, which images will be used.

You can try to create a feature request, or I could move this topic there, if you want.

Hello Dreamer & Marek
Thanks for your answers, that helps or not!
Dreamer, my wish is to display a definable image on the folder. This is very helpful for picture collections.

I understand it's the half-finished Windows again!

Would be a wish and suggestion to possibly improve in the future.

Thank you
Hugo
