In destination pane, column sorting according to date last accessed, descending (newest on top)
In source pane a file is contained with the same name as in another folder (not top most). Open this folder in destination pane.
copy file from source pane to folder in destination pane
When asked if overwrite, click on skip
in destination pane go up one in folder structure.
You will see that the folder in which the copy operation was aborted (destination pane) is now on top and the date last accessed is the current date, even though nothing had been written to it.
Edit: another symptom of this Bug is
drag some files from FC to a 3rd party application
edit and save those files in the 3rd party application
close the 3rd party application
view files in FC, they have an updated last accessed date
In FC go up one in the folder structure
The folder still has the previous last accessed date and not the current date, which it should have

Re: 844-Folder date last accessed bug
FreeCommander never change the last accessed date.
Windows manages the date itself.
