Beta 405 - is it the latest and/or the last version?

16.03.2009 = Beta 405

That version seems to be the very latest available. Is that correct?

Will there be a FINAL (non-Beta) of that release?

Also, will there be any more updates to that code-base? Or is 405 going to be the very last update after all?

IF SO - I would like to ask a favor.

Could you please update the HELP > ABOUT dialog to reflect the up-to-date numbers?

For example where it currently reads:

FreeCommander 2009.02 donor

Could you please put something like this instead:

FreeCommander - 16.03.2009 - Revision 405

With either BETA or FINAL at the end of that line?

It would be a nice, non-confusing bit of version coordination.

I was thinking it would be good to just finalize at 405 if that is indeed the end of that codebase. No biggie I guess. Thanks for the reply though.

405 is the last beta. I plan to publish an update for 2009.02 in some weeks. In this update I will include the bug fixes from the beta.
I work all the time on the new version, it is more work than I thought:). In few days I would like to upload some screenshots from the new version.

Can you please also test your new version on Windows 7 RTM please ?
I can tell you that I have used 2009.02 on Windows 7 RTM for 10 days now without any problems ^^

It's great that there will a clean, up to date final bug-fixed version of the existing codebase. I'm pretty darn fond of the thing, after all, and it will be nice to expand the user base via the official release.
