Sorting columns is different

I looked through the forums but couldn't see if this was by design or not for the new version.

Sorting columns is different than the non-beta version. In that version if I click another column, it will display what the previous column sort was. In the beta version R520, if I click another column, it switches the sorting order for that column.

For example, I have Name sorted in ascending order. I click Modified to see it in descending order. If I click back to Name, it is now in descending order requiring two clicks to get back to the way it was originally. It is taking the previous column's sorting order to use for the next column. IMHO, it worked correctly in the non-beta version.
