Drag and drop to upload helper applications

Hello,

I am working with several so-called BSCWs (Basic Support for Cooperative Work – groupware servers) which provide a Java-script enabled field in the browser window where one can drag&drop files from the file manager for an easy upload to the BSCW. This works fine with the Windows Explorer and FreeCommander 2009.02b, but not with FreeCommander XE 0.0.0.572.

I have observed this situation with several actual browsers (Opera, IE, Firefox) under Windows 7 (64bit) and Windows XP so I suppose that is due to "something new" in FC XE.

Is there any solution to that problem? (As a workaround I drag the desired files from FC XE to the desktop and therefrom to the upload field in my browser, but that’s annoying). I could provide access to such a BSCW if that would make fixing easier.
