Hi,
In 2009 versions of FC, the current list of opened folder was saved by "saving the settings".
This way, even if I closed FC with 1 opened tab on each view, the next opening would start with my usual 3 specific folders opened in left view and 4 in the right view.
These settings were stored under the Form_TabsLeft and Form_TabsRight sections of the ini file.
I can't find a way to do this in FCXE.
Only the opened tabs at closing are taken into account (or only one specific folder if I use this parameter in settings).
Is there a way (or will there be a way) to save multiple opened tabs and always have them at startup ?
Thank you for your guidance.
François

Tools-Settings-Folder tabs - Tab management: Close all not locked tabs, when the program ends
Re: Form_TabsLeft saving multiple startup folders
Hi Karol,
Thank you for your reply. It's nice to feel someone is there.
Unfortunately Close all not locked tabs, when the program ends was already unchecked, and trying to play with it and with the startprogram options didn't make any change.
If you have any other idea, I will try it.
Thank you again for your help

Re: Form_TabsLeft saving multiple startup folders
If you have few important folders, you could lock the tabs for them.
The "Layouts" from 2009.02 are not implemented yet.

Re: Form_TabsLeft saving multiple startup folders
Hi Karol,
I understand. Even though everything is not implemented yet, this version is amazingly rich. It is worth waiting.
In the meantime I will use the tab locking feature, and I will check the "close not locked tab" setting you pointed out previously.
Thank you again for the time you took answering me and for your advice
