- Junction Points were indicated with a J in the attributes column
- Junction Points could be displayed with a different colour via Tools->Settings... View->File/Folder list->Items colour
- Junction Points could be used in a filter, to only show folders that are actually junctions. I assume this is what Attributes->Reparse point is supposed to do but I can't seem to make it work, might be user error

Here's what I did to make it work:zakb01 wrote:... I assume this is what Attributes->Reparse point is supposed to do but I can't seem to make it work ...
1. Folder menu > Filter > Set Filter > Define.
2. On the General tab, select "Apply for Folders" or "Files and Folders."
3. On the Attr/Size tab, check the Attributes box, then click in the Reparse Point box so the check mark is bold. Leave the others greyed out to allow any state for them (if you clear them, it means the item must NOT have those attributes).
4. Give the filter a name in the box below.
5. Click OK, then OK.
6. Folder menu > Filter.
7. Click on the filter name to apply.

EDIT: +1 for zakb01's three suggestions. They won't affect me much, but I'm sure they will be useful for other users, and I think they won't be too difficult to add to FC's existing capabilities. Nice ideas

Re: Junction Point features
Perhaps the default setting of Apply For...
should be "Files and Folders" instead of "Files"?
Users would begin from that as the most inclusive setting, and customize it to more limited settings of either "Files" or "Folders." That would avoid surprises such as zakb01 experienced.
