Suggestion: User-defined Popup Menus in Toolbars

Please consider implementing an interface to allow users to build popup ("drop-down") menu lists for custom toolbars.

For instance, I would combine all of the thumbnail size commands into one thumbnail toolbar icon for the panel toolbars. Also I would combine copy, move, etc, into one button. There are many other examples.

This feature would greatly simplify the UI and be more attractive. Here is an example of how this might look in a toolbar:

Wow.

I never ever thought to click on those two dots. What a great feature. Perfect. Time to rethink my toolbars.

FC has really come together nicely!

Thank you!

Here is a related suggestion.

Each "popup" button in the toolbar system for Rhino3D (excellent tool, BTW) has a checkbox called "Float to top". "Float to top" places the most recently selected subitem at the "top" of the list, exposing it as the "default" action on the button.

Another word for this might be "Persist".

So, if "Persist" was implemented in the FC toolbar config, then the icon (and action) displayed on the button would be the most recent subitem selected by the user.

I hope to have explained this adequately.
