When I right click on the tab and select properties the Use as base folder for tree is greyed out. What am I doing wrong?

"Use as base folder" is active only for "Lock - navigation to subfolders only".

Thank you Karol. Is there a place where I can learn what the different locking options do?

Lock tab ===> when you click on close button, the prompt dialog appears
Lock tab - no navigation ====> same as above + if you try to navigate out of locked folder path, this path will appear in separate tab
Lock tab - navigation to subfolders ===> same as first line + when you navigate on parent folder of locked folder, a new tab will appear; on the other hand, subfolders of locked path will be shown in the same tab
