In 2016 Build 717 64-bit donor is there a 64 bit context menu as was in the earlier non-donor version? I used to select some files, right click (or Win logo and right click) and saw a choice to send these files to burn in Nero. That is not present since I switched to the above version. "Burn with Nero> burn data disk" still appears with my other 2 file managers.
An earlier posting here (much earlier) indicated one could edit a line to the freecommander.ini file to change 0 to 1 to show the 64 bit context menu. I don't find that line.
Suggestion? Thanks.

64 bit context menu?
Re: 64 bit context menu?
The line you're talking about is ShowContextMenu64Bit=0, but AFAIK there is only the 64 bit context menu available in XE x64 (as it should be when you're willing to go the full 64 bit route). Nero must not have a 64 bit shell extension. You can use XE public portable version to access the 32 bit context menu.

What do you mean by "when you're willing to go the full 64 bit route?" I thought my version of FC is 64 bit ( 2016 Build 717 64-bit donor). And Nero used to show up on the public 64 bit (and worked with ctrl_right click in 32 bit). Sorry but I am confused by your answer.
Maybe I need to switch to 32 bit donor and try with ctrl_right click and see if that works. I don't know as I really need a 64 bi version....

Re: 64 bit context menu?
I meant using only 64 bit apps on a 64 bit OS.
Your Nero does not have a 64 bit shell extension, so it's not available in the context menu (XE 64 bit shows only the 64 bit context menu). You have to use XE 32 bit to get access to Nero's shell extension.

Re: 64 bit context menu?
Thanks joby_toss for that explanation. So I switched from 64 to 32 bit donor. Now if I use Windows logo and right click together I get back my Nero burner choice.joby_toss wrote:I meant using only 64 bit apps on a 64 bit OS.
