Add icon to favorite toolbar

#1 Post by wrbird » 24.03.2016, 21:48

I need to add an icon to my favorite toolbar that will open windows explorer to a specific folder. Does anyone know the syntax for this? All I need to do from the run command is <explorer "c:\specific folder">, but this doesn't work in the Program of folder line of FCXE for the icon. I would also think that all I would have to do is enter <c:\windows\explorer.exe> in the Program or folder line and enter the folder path to the Start folder line, but this doesn't work either.

Thanks

here's what i have to open explorer in the active folder, you can alter it to just have a path statement instead.

where you see "%ActivDir%" you can put in a specific path "C:\temp"

The icon i use is from the explorer.exe, but you could use almost any .ico file you want
